Increasingly, modern devices for communication use their supply lines (PLC, power line communication). In order to be able to test such devices in accordance with the normative specifications, artificial mains networks (AMN) must be used in the power supply lines. However, these artificial mains networks prevent the communication on the supply line. To enable PLC communication, PLC bypass networks are required. They form a crossover for PLC signals to bypass the network simulation. The bypass network must provide sufficient decoupling for the interfering signals to be measured, but on the other hand it must attenuate the PLC signal only to the extent that reliable communication remains ensured.
The PLC bypass SY 9223 PLC AAN can be used in AC and DC systems.
