The Pilot ISN is an impedance stabilization network used to measure disturbance voltages in PLC (Power Line Communication) systems. Its design complies with IEC 61851-21-2, which specifies standards for electric vehicle conductive charging systems. The ISN ensures decoupling between the equipment under test (EUT) and the associated communication device or load (AE).
The Pilot ISN provides an impedance of 150 Ω, as required by the standard, when a PLC connection with an impedance of 100 Ω is established. To improve impedance matching, the integrated attenuator must be activated.
