HHS 5212-10 – Helmholtz Coils

Schwarzbeck HHS-5212 Helmholtz-Coil
Schwarzbeck HHS-5212 Helmholtz-Coil
The Schwarzbeck HHS 5212-10 Square Helmholtz Coils are designed to generate precisely defined magnetic fields from DC up to 150 kHz, making them ideal for calibration and testing applications. Each coil features 10 turns and can handle a maximum coil current of 20 A for 5 minutes, achieving a maximum magnetic field strength of 250 A/m. With a maximum coil separation of 0.70 m, these coils offer flexibility for various testing setups, ensuring best uniformity at a separation distance of 0.68 m. The inductance per coil is 0.45 mH, and the pair has a resonance frequency greater than 500 kHz, ensuring stable and reliable performance. Weighing 12 kg and equipped with 4 mm female terminals, the HHS 5212-10 is easy to integrate into existing systems. The linear relationship between coil current and magnetic field strength allows for precise field strength calculations, which are traceable to current measurements. These coils are perfect for applications requiring high precision and stability in magnetic field generation.
