The Schwarzbeck HHS 5206-16 Circular Helmholtz Coils are expertly designed to generate precise magnetic fields from DC up to 500 kHz, with a resonance frequency exceeding 700 kHz. These coils are ideal for calibrating magnetic field probes and sensors, as well as conducting magnetic immunity testing in accordance with automotive standards and MIL-STD 461. Featuring 16 turns and a high temperature-proof Teflon-coated wire, they can produce magnetic fields up to 2100 A/m for short durations and 1260 A/m continuously. The strong linear relationship between coil current and magnetic field strength ensures accurate field strength calculations. With a coil diameter of 600 mm and the capability to accommodate a maximum cubic Device Under Test (DuT) size of 32.5 x 32.5 x 32.5 cm, these coils are versatile for various testing setups. Special care should be taken by individuals with magnetic-field-sensitive implants, such as pacemakers. Simulation results using Finite Element Method Magnetic (FEMM) software provide detailed insights into the magnetic field intensity and flux distribution for these coils.
