SY 9223-CAT8 – Broadband Balun 50 Ohm to 100 Ohm
SY 9223-CAT8 is a balun, (balance-to-unbalance transformer) with a symmetrical resistive attenuator. It transforms an unsymmetrical RF signal (reference impedance 50 Ω) into a symmetrical one (100 Ω). At the symmetrical side a resistive attenuator is used to provide forced impedance matching and adjustment of the nominal attenuation of 10 dB (referred to power) per balun.
