EFS 9218 – Active Electric Field Probe with Biconical Elements
The EFS 9218 is very symmetrical active electric field probe designed for precise and accurate measurements across a wide frequency range of 9 kHz to 300 MHz. This probe is a small, light-weight and equipped with biconical elements, built-in amplifier and NiMH rechargeable batteries. A switchable amplifier is integrated to enhance the probe’s sensitivity, improving the antenna factor to 20 dB/m. In order to eliminate power supply problems and stray coupling, NiMH rechargeable batteries are built in the mounting tube.

The EFS 9218 is ideal for frequency selective E-field measurements both indoors and outdoors. It is commonly used with test receivers or spectrum analyzers to measure electric fields in various environments, ensuring precise and reliable data for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and other applications.
