NFCN 1356 – Compensation Network for the HFRA 5164 Radiating Loop
The compensation network NFCN 1356 has been designed to meet the requirements of the standards IEC 60601-1-2 and IEC 61000-4-39. It consists of an RC-network, which is needed to reduce the impedance of the shielded radiating loop HFRA 5164 at the frequency of 13.56 MHz and to better match the VSWR in a 50 Ohm system. The required generator power to produce 7.5 A/m, at the distance of 50 mm, is approximately 5 – 10 Watt. Furthermore, a field strength of up to 22 A/m can be produced for short times (about 1 minute).
