Some antennas made by ETS Lindgren (e.g. ETS 3115), A-INFO or EMCO are equipped with a central 1/4″ threaded pin with wing nut for mounting on a tripod. For positioning the antenna polarisation there is furthermore a locking disk with 8 holes installed on the antenna.
Such antennas can be adapted to mast systems designed for the widely used 22 mm antenna mounting tube with the ETSA 9227 by Schwarzbeck.
The adapter is suitable for small, lightweight antennas up to 3 kg. For large and heavy an-tennas, the resulting leverage moment is too large and suitable mast mounts from the manu-facturer should be used as an alternative.
