Especially for generating extremely high fieldstrengths the model VULP 9118 E “High Power” was designed, which is equipped with a high power 7/16-Connector and a nearly lossless air coaxial line. Destruction of the antenna due to power overload is impossible in practical applications.
The normal operation of VULP 9118 E special “High Power” is with capacitive loading discs (sometimes called “end discs”) mounted at the longest elements.
