BBFA 9146 foldable conical elements are large open conical elements with variable adjustable opening angle.
To improve the antenna properties in the lower frequency range, it is possible to use extensions.
Antennas with open conical elements have similar characteristics like antennas with biconical elements (circular directional pattern in the H-plane. “8”-shaped in the E-plane, fixed phasecenter and comparable gain)
The folded elements need less space during transport or storage.
